Here’s what i look for when testing colored pencils for quality:

What colors it had were curated well and the colors saturated pretty well, for the most. These classic pencils color and write smoothly and brilliantly, and are suited for everyone from beginners to mature artists. Bright colors, easy sharpening, long lasting, thick,smooth leads.

I had to try a few of the pencils out (in one of the grand kids' puzzle books), just to make sure they were of good quality. I do still prefer roseart over the crazart colored pencils. I would say they are my first because they are bold and last a long time but i know another brand that has 100 times the amount of colors. No ratings or reviews yet. Item not available in hobby lobby stores.

I actually really liked this set more than i expected! They also marked easily with very little pressure. Not all walmarts maybe just the ones you go to bcuz the one i go to still carry the 72 color set.

As with most of crayola’s offerings, the crayola colored pencils come in a cardboard case. Some of the crazart pencils the tip constantly breaks even after sharpening that when it stops. However, the colors are not vibrant once they meet the paper and sharpening the pencils often results in broken leads.
